This is the 3rd installment dedicated to the
Legendary Lucious Johnny Valiant

Lucious Johnny Valiant grew up in the Pittsburg suburbs as Thomas Sullivan. Once he entered the world of Professional Wrestling he became one of the most outspoken heels in wrestling history. His claim to fame was in tag team wrestling where along with Jimmy "boogie woogieman" Valiant, they dominated the tag team scene of the 70's. In the late 70's a third member was added to the "Valiant" brothers mix. Gentleman Jerry Valiant along with Lucious Johnny also won tag team gold in the WWF.

Johnny V had a long and successful career as a tag team wrestler. He did win a singles title once however he along with his "brothers" were one of the most dominant tag teams in wrestling history.

When Johnny V's wrestling career was over he went on to manage other tag teams. Most notably the "Dream Team" of Greg Valentine and Brutus Beefcake. He also was the first manager to bring in Demolition. The team of Axe and Smash

At that same time Johnny also was being used for color commentary by the WWF. Never at a loss for words he was a great choice for that. In 1996 the WWE inducted the Valiant Brothers into the WWE Hall of fame.

He spends time now working in comedy clubs and appearing at wrestling shows. He's been in episodes of the Sopranos, Law and Order he also has several feature films on his resume. He also had a one man show called "An evening with Johnny Valiant". This show recieved critical praise by Time out New York, The Village Voice and WBAI Pacifica Radio.

Come out to Devastation University on Feb 21st 2009 to meet this Legend.
